West Union Presbyterian Church (also known as West Union United Presbyterian Church) is a historic church standing at 108 S. 2nd Street in West Union, Ohio. Constructed in 1810, it is the oldest church building in Ohio that is still used as a church. The church is nicknamed the "Church of the Governors", as Ohio's second governor, Thomas Kirker, helped organize the congregation, and Thomas Metcalfe, a mason who later became Governor of Kentucky, helped construct the church's walls.〔(Official Church Website )〕 The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. The church is a part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). ==See also==
